New York, New York!  Tremendous opportunity for someone wishing to work in the USA!     Please do note that very strict US laws for the J1 visa requirements mean that candidates need to be under 25, a driver and a strong swimmer, and our clients require English as first language.

Our long standing fabulous NSJ professional clients are seeking an experienced and trained nanny to take full charge of their 2 children, B5 years & G3 years to replace their much loved British NORLAND NANNY who will have  been with the family for 2 years when she leaves.  Previous NSJ British nanny was also with the family for two years.  Family are relocating to West Chelsea in downtown Manhattan in March 2019, so nanny will have access to a very vibrant area and community for activities, sports and classes etc.

Both parents work in finance, so have a very busy schedule. They are seeking a great Nanny with good experience, ideally professionally trained and who is highly organised and proactive.

To work Monday to Friday; the boy is at full time school and finishes at 3.30pm and from September, his younger sister will attend pre-K at the same school, three days per week, rising to 5 days. The school is very unique and teaches the children one day in Spanish, the following day in Mandarin.  There is also a lovely housekeeper employed who only speaks Spanish with the children, so the new nanny must again have English as first language!

A driver would be appreciated as family spent nearly every other weekend at their second home in Philadelphia, also nanny will spend time there in the summer holidays as well as other locations, so driving is important for the clients and enables the nanny to get around much more easily.  

Nanny must be time-wise and super-organised, so a 6.30am start with the morning rush finishing at 8.30am.  With after school activities, play dates etc the Nanny should also be confident preparing fresh food and menus for the week.  And be super-active and be happy to play in the park with a soccer ball etc, so an active sporty personality would be great.  Happy positive outgoing personality best suited, also very organised, calm and collected with at least 4 years experience.

US laws for the J1 visa requirements mean that candidates need to be under 25. Driver and strong swimmer are also essential and these are also part of the visa requirements.
