BAYSWATER W2:  Our international clients are seeking a temporary, Daily, qualified Governess/Teacher for their 2 daughters aged 7 & 6 years. There is a younger brother, but this role is mainly for the older girls.

Family live directly opposite Hyde Park and there are household staff, so no nursery duties required.  The two girls are currently at a London school in Year 1 & 2.  The girls are bright active and engaged little ones, but parents are keen that their education is kept up to speed as the school they attend is very academic. This position is to provide tutoring and home-schooling support for their children throughout the next few months, whilst the schools remain closed.

The hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm.  This is a sole charge role in a shared household.  Both girls are very academically able, but their eldest does slightly struggle with concentration/focus, so seeking a candidate who can get her engaged in learning and able to help develop her interest in school/help prepare with the academic demands.

Middle children loves learning and loves to work, so continuing this is key.  A candidate with PGCE or QTS would be best suited who can enjoy teaching bKS 1 & 2, keeping the girls interested and retaining some structure to the day as the girls have a curriculum of education provided by the school which due to Covid is of course currently closed.  Although primarily supporting their daughters, the candidate may be asked to spend some time on educational play with their youngest son (3 years) upon occasion. A warm upbeat personality would be best suited.  

This position is to provide tutoring and homeschooling support for their children throughout the next few months, whilst the schools remain closed, but our clients can consider employing the Teacher on a permanent, part-time basis when schools do re-open.

Please note there is a very friendly,  4-legged addition to the household too!  A German Shepherd puppy, so candidate must be OK with dogs.
