Description

March start: We are looking for a top, new Rota Nanny for lovely, young, international clients who divide their time between Monaco & London.  There is one little boy who is 2 years and a new baby due in the summer (Maternity Nurse will be employed for at least 6 months).

To start anytime from March onwards (though our clients could be a bit flexible with a later start date for "the right" nanny). And this role is to take over from our NSJ nanny who is leaving the family after a couple of years and will probably start in Monaco - so please do note new Brexit regulations when applying for this role, as the nanny will almost be spending more than 90 days in Europe, so an EU passport holder is preferred.

This is a young household with busy, active parents who love to travel whenever possible (Covid restrictions depending).  The new nanny should have an organised, positive and calm personality, a superb knowledge of the early years.  Under normal circumstances our clients travel a lot and spend time in Monaco, Ibiza and USA, so experience of travel with children is highly desirable and super-helpful.

The toddler is 2 years and his new sibling will almost certainly be born in Monaco. Our clients would like someone who is kind and nurturing but can also set firm boundaries (the little chap is a strong-willed). A nanny with good interest in child development/knowledge of milestones etc is very important, as is baby experience and experience of night shifts and 24 hours is preferred, as the Nanny will be taking over from the MN when the new baby is approx 6 months old.

The parents give a lot of responsibility to the nanny and need someone who knows what they are doing with a baby and someone who has experience with babies from 6 months vitally important. When the Maternity Nurse leaves the Nanny will definitely have a lot of responsibility of the baby and will need knowledge of weaning, milestones, sleep training, teething etc.

A Nanny who is educationally focused, (a Montessori background would be hugely favourable).
  Also a personality to fit for the baby - kind, patient, nurturing, understanding etc. Our clients favour a gentle approach when it comes to baby care in terms of following a baby’s natural rhythm, no strict routines, no “crying it out” or being left alone to cry. 

It is key that the nanny is comfortable and relaxed with the family, but discreet and professional at all times.  A candidate who is fun & outdoorsy and a keen keen traveller with good sealegs for time spent on their yacht in Monaco. 

The little boy will be starting nursery starting in September, so  travel will be focused to school holidays. Working Christmas is not an essential requirement, but there will almost certainly be travel over new year 2021/2022.

Nanny should have excellent qualifications and experience with children from small babies upwards and at least 8 years professional experience with a strong portfolio and excellent checkable references. Nanny will have their own bedroom and bathroom en-suite.
