Location | SW WILTSHIRE (between Salisbury & Shaftesbury): early 2024 start ££££ (confident driver essential) |
Description | early 2024 start in SW WILTSHIRE (between Salisbury & Shaftesbury) for a part time, Live-in, Nanny/Proxy Carer - 3 children; 7, 4 & 2 years (full salary paid) - confident country & city driver essential Role: PT Live-in Nanny/Proxy Parent Start: early 2024 Hours: Tuesday am to Thursday pm Location: SW Wiltshire (Salisbury/Shaftesbury) Charges: 3 children, 7, 4 & 2 years Salary: Full-time salary offered Special requirements: Confident city & country driver We have a truly super opportunity for an experienced, professional and super-fun, sole charge, Nanny/Proxy Carer to support our clients with their 3 children. Early January 2024 start. The working hours will be 09.00 Tuesday - 19.00 Thursday and accommodation is supplied when on duty. Our clients are a fun, relaxed and loving family living rurally in South West Wiltshire (between Salisbury & Shaftesbury), they have 3 children; B7, B4 & G2 years. And all the children attend school in Shaftesbury (approx. a 30 minute drive) and they are in Year 3, Reception and Nursery respectively.
Our clients run their own business (fashion) and work in London from Tuesday until Thursday, hence their requirement for Nanny/Proxy Parent from 09.00 on a Tuesday morning until 19.00 on a Thursday evening. Although it is a bit of an alternative set up, the family has been doing this since July and it works incredibly well for them all. But when they are home the parents enjoy being able to focus completely on their children. Family time is really important for our clients and they don’t need to take their nanny on holiday, although there maybe the odd week of full time proxy required, and any additional hours would be agreed well in advance and paid extra. The family home is a large property and there is a full-time Housekeeper from Monday – Friday. Our clients are keen to stress that having three children means they are a very busy fun household, especially in the school holidays! But this job does have a lot of downtime, especially now their youngest daughter has started going to nursery part time, so would suit someone who has other interests they would like to pursue eg. cooking, gardening, growing vegetables or horses. Mum would love a candidate who was passionate about cooking and would enjoy spending their free time cooking for the family. There is quite a bit of driving to and from school and so we need a nanny who is a confident country & city driver - family will provide a nanny car.
Since this is primarily a proxy parenting role the family's key objective is to recruit a new nanny who is supremely organised and efficient, able to keep on top of homework and what kits needed for when etc. The children love going on fun trips in the holidays (eg. Longleat, which is fairly close by) and would love someone who is excited to plan trips and happy to take all the children on their own. Most important to our clients though is someone who loves children, is kind, loving and fun and can have a wonderful time with their children and make special and happy memories. The family's outgoing nanny highly recommends this family and position. Full salary offered. Interviews are now taking place for an early 2024 start, and we would be absolutely delighted to chat through further details, so do please call us: 0207 610 9218 or email your fully up to date CV and references to info@nanniesofstjames.com
