4685 KENSINGTON: Daily Nanny (2 children, nearly 4 & 2 years) – Nov start, driver required

• Role: Daily Nanny.

• Location: Kensington (Notting Hill Gate underground)

• Children: G4 & B2 years.

• Start date: ASAP November.

• Special requirements: Confident London driver (auto).

November start in Kensington for a top, trained, Daily Nanny – to work with two little children; nearly 4 & 2 years.

~ The working hours will be: Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 18.00.

This is a truly super position! Our client’s eldest child turns 4 in November and is currently at nursery (will go to school in Sept 2025) and their youngest is 2 y-o and at nursery.

Our clients have had a wonderful Housekeeper/Nanny who has been supporting them for a number of years and the children absolutely adore her. But with the children starting their nursery years and preparing for school, our clients are looking for a more formal nanny who will focus on their education, development and school preparation.

The existing Housekeeper/Nanny will still be involved as an extra pair of hands, but their new nanny will have full autonomy on how things are structured. Obviously the new candidate must be sympathetic to the new structure and be a good team player.

The working hours will be: Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm, with occasional babysitting (mutual agreement and paid extra) and maybe some ad-hoc weekends (likewise, mutual agreement and paid extra). And the family would love it if the nanny could join them with some of their international, holiday travel.

A confident London driver is an essential requirement and a candidate with superb training and who is hot on development and educational support. The new candidate must have had similar age group experience in the past, be fit & active and full of fun – and crucially, a real team player! The Nanny will be responsible for all normal nursery duties, menu planning and cooking for the children, keeping on top of children’s organisation, kids PA duties (birthday invitations/presents etc..), researching new clubs, classes & adventures.

They are both very interested children so our clients would love the nanny to take them on excursions to theatre, museums etc as they become age-appropriate. The children are both members of Purple Dragon, have swimming lessons and the eldest attends ballet.

This is delightfully straightforward appointment, to support professional working parents, and interviews are actively taking place. Our clients are located literally a stone's throw from Notting Hill Gate underground.

Health insurance provided & £170 CPD budget per annum for the successful candidate.
