Are you an experienced, caring, qualified and creative Governess/Tutor looking for a rewarding role in Oman? We are currently recruiting for a wonderful family seeking a dedicated, professionally trained candidate to support their two lovely daughters with their educational and developmental needs. Part time hours with a full time salary! The family’s daughters G9 years (in Grade 4) & G6 years (in KG3). The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping them thrive academically and socially, making learning a fun and engaging experience.
Role & Responsibilities: - Your main responsibilities will include assisting the children with their homework and providing academic support tailored to their respective grade levels. You will guide them in reading, writing, and numeracy, helping them build confidence and skills in these core areas. Additionally, you will teach basic etiquette and good manners, fostering their social development.
- It is essential that the candidates is formally trained (Teacher, PGCE etc) & has previous experience Tutoring in formal households.
- During the afternoons, you’ll provide gentle structure and enriching activities that promote creativity and curiosity. You will also handle follow-ups and meetings with their school, ensuring all their academic needs are met. It’s important that you help the children stay organized — making sure homework and test preparations are completed by 19:00, so they can relax and enjoy their evenings.
Working Hours & Schedule:
- The working hours are from 15:00/16:00 to 19:00, Sunday through Thursday.
- The role begins when the children return from school around15:00, and your engagement will start shortly after. The family’s weekends are Friday & Saturday, and you will not be required to work during these days unless additional support is needed, which can be planned flexibly.

- The ideal candidate should be formally trained, patient, kind and professional, with previous experience working with children in this age range. Your ability to connect with young learners, make session's engaging, and foster a positive environment will be highly appreciated.
