East Sussex, from July: A beautiful, separate cottage awaits the new Nanny/Housekeeper for this lovely professional family based in the heart of the countryside in East Sussex. You will be replacing their current Nanny/Housekeeper who is leaving after 6 very happy years. There are two slightly older, more autonomous children in the household: G11 years & B9 years. A great team player is essential, as is a confident driver. Video interviews taking place now.
Parents both work in London during the week. Family live on a large 200 acre estate with a variety of animals including alpacas and several dogs, including two labradoodles and two small dogs, so essential that nanny loves animals! Nanny/Housekeeper will be running the house including children’s laundry etc also the weekly schedule for the children, school runs, attending rugby matches, any school events etc on behalf of the parents. Experience of working in a household with school-aged children and be prepared to with the ability to ensure that children get stuck into their homework, also enjoy cooking as children have great appetites and love home cooked food. Family have a long standing housekeeper who comes every other weekend who does a deep clean, laundry and ironing as a backup to the Nanny.
Nanny must be a good swimmer and enjoy outdoor activities. And in the future there will be some travel with the family to their summer and winter homes in Europe.
Nanny will be provided with a separate two-bedroomed cottage on the estate and use of a car, automatic. Hours will be Monday to Friday 7.00am - 7.30pm. A happy environment, the outgoing nanny has been with the family for 6 years!
