| Description | ASAP start, PIMLICO SW1: Our British clients based in the heart of Pimlico are seeking a new Live-in Nanny/Manny for their active, outgoing twin boys aged 7 (nearly 8 years). Twins are at school in Knightsbridge and from September will be entering the senior prep-school at the same school. Parents are busy working parents so this is a full charge role. Current nanny has been with the family for two years. The day starts at 6.45 am to get the boys organised with breakfast and sometimes help the boys practice their reading out loud or spelling and times tables. They then all leave the house at 7.45am and walk to school in Knightsbridge which takes about 25 mins. This has always been a good time for the nanny and the boys to chat and enjoy each other's company and is something the parents think is super important for city based children. Nanny then returns to the house at 8.45am and once duties etc, batch cooking, boys laundry and ensuring the boys rooms are kept tidy and under control, nanny is free to do their own thing. This position would definitely suit someone who likes to study, keep fit, go to the gym, swim etc. Or even have driving lessons etc. The nanny then leaves the house at 3.00/3.15pm to walk to school to collect the boys, sometimes slightly later if they have clubs. Then tea and bath etc and perhaps some music practice. Nanny finishes at 7.00pm and is then free. Following the probationary period, parents may well give nanny use of a separate apartment located 10 mins walk from family home. Family travel occasionally with the nanny, usually once per year to Europe, normally to a villa with a pool. A good swimmer is important. Start date is April/May and parents are interviewing now. In short, we are looking for a Pied Piper figure who can model leadership whilst taking into consideration and building upon the boys' own interests (one twin- piano, fencing, model building, cricket, music/singing, tree climbing; twin 2 - drumming, singing, cricket, bicycling, outdoors, reading, travel/exploring).
