Wonderful new appointment for delightful, returning NSJ clients based in the Shoreditch area of central London. Our clients are seeking a new Live-In Nanny to replace their current teacher-trained NSJ nanny, who will have been with them three years and will be very much missed.

This lovely British family are seeking a bright, engaged & upbeat nanny able to stimulate and nature their 3-year-old daughter and baby boy of 7-months. Their eldest is a sweet, intuitive & astute little girl with a love for play-dates (very sociable!), ballet, music, swimming, outdoor activities and day trips out. As she is quite advanced for her age, especially with speech, our clients are specifically seeking a fun yet, educationally focused candidate familiar with the EYFS and able to continue/further her development going forwards. Similarly, our client’s younger son is also very affectionate, smiley and sweet-natured. As their littlest one will be 7-months of age and already enjoys being sung and chatted to, our clients are keen for their new nanny to research and arrange age-appropriate classes to participate with him in.

The family reside in a beautiful loft apartment spread over two floors within the super trendy area of Shoreditch. With the loft once previously two separate flats, the nanny’s accommodation provided on the lower flat area is still very separate and independent, despite these floors being interconnected now. As mentioned, the family share the stairwell but are mindful of their nanny’s downtime and do openly encourage their current nanny to make the most of this large, private space consisting of a large bedroom, huge kitchen and living area! 

Due to their central London location, the surrounding area boasts great cafes, shops, a cinema, gyms, restaurants and park/canal walks, as well as plenty of local activities for children just a short drive away! Furthermore, this vibrant fun corner of London also neighbours many cultural attractions such as – Columbia Road Flower market, Brick Lane, Spitalfields Markets – so plenty of fun places nearby to explore during your time off! 

An active candidate (3rd floor of a tall, warehouse building, with many stairs!) and driver essential for this position. In addition, the family do also require a candidate able to carry out a small amount of European & US travel with them. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 7:30pm, with the position to start ASAP.

As mentioned, we are tasked with replacing the family's current long-standing nanny, and of whom has been an integral part of their family. Therefore, our clients are looking for a new long-term candidate who will equally embed themselves with them and who can be similarly trusted and depend on. Most importantly, our clients are seeking a kind, enthusiastic candidate with a positive outlook and someone clearly motivated and passionate about their profession within childcare.
