| Description | Notting Hill: Our lovely NSJ client is seeking a new Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to join her family. There is a slight open start date for this role, but definitely by the time term starts in September. Family are located in Notting Hill off Ladbroke Grove and there are three gorgeous children, two boys 8 (at school locally), 3, (at nursery) and a girl of 6 years who is at school with her brother. This is a Live-in role, Monday to Friday. Twice a month the nanny will be required to take the children by train to York on a Friday night, where they will be met by family, and the nanny can then immediately head straight off for her weekend. Ideally the new nanny will be a confident English speaker, someone warm, efficient, kind, not afraid to set boundaries & discipline and a great team player. The children need a caring companion and someone they can have fun with, relate to, who can also help the older two with homework etc and after school activities. The youngest boy is at nursery school locally until 12, so effectively nanny will do the morning, getting everyone ready for school and breakfast, then be free all morning until collecting the boy from nursery. The afternoon will be activities or play dates with little one and school run, after school activities with the older two. Nanny/Housekeeper duties, including taking care of the children's clothes, bedrooms etc. Be happy to prepare food for the children, coordinate with mother and be a real team player. We are looking for someone who could start before the new school year starts so they can get settled with the children and enable mother to get on with her new business. Good sense of humour, proactive and organised and be an essential part of this warm and happy household. Driver would be helpful, but is not essential. Bi-monthly travel to Yorkshire and by arrangement, overseas.
