Our Notting Hill-based clients are looking for a very enthusiastic, fun loving, creative Daily Nanny with a happy disposition and cheerful nature.

Working Monday - Friday 2.00pm - 7.30pm during term time with more full time in the holidays.

The nanny must be someone who exudes energy and is not just academically inclined but has all rounded creative skills to teach the children art, crafts, join in with their singing, imaginary play, outdoor adventures and loves to read and be read to by the children! The nanny should be able to do homework sent by the school from Reception to Year 3 and must have a deep understanding of children’s behaviour and how they evolve as individuals.

The candidate must enjoy the company of children and express a real keenness in seeing them blossom and grow as little individuals. Patience is paramount and key. Being in the company of children while enjoyable can also be demanding. The candidate must display a large degree of calmness. 

Travel is important on half terms and other holidays. There is usually another member of the household either a housekeeper or the live-in nanny that accompanies the family as they like to travel in a team of two staff. 

Once the nanny is familiar with the household and the day to day duties related to the children, parents will required the nanny to be one step ahead in terms of managing the children’s diary, schoolwork, playdates, scheduling activities and anything else liaising with the parents. Keeping the playroom tidy at all times is key. Helping out with the children’s bedrooms also when required and being on top of their clothes, belongings and anything else agreed.
