Hampstead NW3:  Delightful, very private, international clients in Hampstead are seeking a new **French-speaking**,Daily Nanny,

The Nanny will care for three children, B8, G6 & B4.5 years whilst on duty Monday to Friday. The hours will be Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm with two nights babysitting on fixed days. During term time the hours may be shorter, but nanny will be on call in case one of the children is sick and at home from school.  Holidays are full time hours. Our previous NSJ nannies who have worked for these clients all highly recommend this family!

This is a shared & sole care role in a fully staffed household.  

A Nanny who is fun and active, but gentle, kind and extremely focused on the children and happy to work alongside the mother.

This is a staffed household and there is a chef cooks for the whole family, but the Nanny must be happy to pitch in when the Chef is off-duty.  The Nanny will be required to focus on the children, but must be a good team player and work well as part of a team. This is a *very* sporty family and physical activity is a very important part of their lifestyle, so a candidate who is sporty, fit & active and will enjoy participating in activities with the children. There is a swimming pool, and a confident swimmer is required.  

A driver would be useful (auto), but is not essential, if nanny has their own car, there is also parking at the house. Travel is required, the family spend time in Europe, South France, Ibiza Greece etc.

Helpful information direct from the family:

From Monday to Friday, you will be on call to assist mum and help the children with the support, development and love they need. You should be a good team player and be able to fit in well with the existing team and other staff, and established schedule and routine which work well.

You will be assisting with the morning routine, school drop offs during term time – shared with mum. Once you return after the school run, you’ll have minor nursery duties and then free time for the day until the children return from school. The household is busy during the day, so if you have hobbies, activities, or prefer to return to your weekend location (if it is in London) then you are welcome to – as the family prefer the other staff to be able to focus on the household duties at hand.

You’ll then assist with pickup and taking to after school activities. The oldest needs French tutoring a few times per week (reading, lots of conversation). All the children are easy-going, comfortable with the staff and have a joy for life – you should be able to help them flourish and plan fun learning and play activities. You should be confident with planning lovely activities and be fully engaged with them at all times. The parents don’t like much screen time – so you should be happy to create activities and reading, stories or even dance routines!

During the school holidays your hours will adjust slightly –  Travel with the family will be regular, and you should be happy to travel with the family and other staff. You should be confident with sole charge and also shared charge care and an excellent team player.
