September start in WANDSWORTH COMMON: Completely sole charge, Live-in Nanny (G8 & B4 years)

Returning, professional clients with busy careers are seeking a new Live-in Nanny to replace their much-loved Norland nanny who has recently left the family after 3.5 years.

Our clients have two children, G8 & B4 years and are a professional working couple, who occasionally have to work erratic hours, so this is a completely sole charge role. Therefore we require a candidate who is happy to be autonomous and can confidently take charge of the daily routines for the children (school, clubs, activities, social, meals, homework, evening routines etc) and be prepared to represent the parents at school, appointments etc.

The nanny will be required to work 5 days, Monday - Friday from 07.00.  Monday - Thursday the nanny will work from 07.00 - 19.00, and will finish early (afternoon) on a Friday.  And once a month the nanny will have a Friday off.

The children will be both be attending school in Clapham from September,  this is a bit of a transition, so the new nanny will be sensitive to new changes and be positive & supportive. The school is only about a mile away, so if the nanny drives, then she can drive the children. But it is a nice, straightforward walk. The family are happy for the children to have active social lives and join clubs and do activities & sports; so the nanny will be responsible for organising those. The children's leisure pursuits are typical for their ages; they enjoy a variety of interests including sports, singing, dancing and are happy to try new things!

The family is situated in Wandsworth, just south of Wandsworth Common, and not far from Wandsworth Common & Earlsfield tube stations.  Therefore this is a super area for amenities, easy for school runs (Clapham) and of course there is also a great nanny network! This is a live-in role and the nanny will have her own space at the top of the house (bedroom bathroom & private area).

This is a happy, busy household and the family's last nanny was with them for 3.5 years! She was a Norland trained nanny, but the family are open going forward, providing the new nanny has good experience of school-age children, is confident & independent and has a great track record with a strong portfolio (incl. check-able references).  A nanny who is Covid vaccinated is preferred.
