HYDE PARK: trained, experienced Live-in, Baby Nanny for baby girl (currently 12 weeks) English MT with a second language (French, Spanish or Italian)

Professional clients are seeking a loving, caring, smiley Live-in Nanny to join their family looking after their 12-week baby girl. The family, who are originally from New York, live on Hyde Park and are seeking a qualified nanny with at least 5 years of experience who is ideally looking to join their family long term with the potential of more babies in the future.

The Nanny will be required to work 5 days/week, Monday to Friday, 7am -7pm, with two nights of babysitting and very occasional daytime weekend cover (agreed in advance and paid additionally).

The baby is a very healthy, happy, chill and curious baby, in an excellent daily routine. It is predominantly a sole change with occasional shared care with her parents, while offering plenty of freedom to explore museums, parks, and galleries. Her parents are deeply passionate about education and want her to have every opportunity for mental and creative development.

The nanny should be English MT and preferably speak a second language fluently (French, Spanish or Italian) and be happy to teach that language early-on. Parents are looking for someone that is keen to provide her with plenty of age-appropriate learning. This would include structured activities, classes, and playdates, and story time, creative music and art projects and day trips to museums, zoos and gardens. They are very lovely and fun-loving. When they’re around, they are very hands on (e.g. bath time, story time, feeding time) which would offer a great chance to get other nanny duties sorted.

The family travel approx. 4 – 6 weeks a year to destinations including Europe, Asia and the US and on occasion enjoy weekends in the English countryside. There would be a handover with their Norland Maternity nurse to ensure a smooth transition.

The family live on Hyde Park by Lancaster Gate tube station. The apartment building has a communal private garden, its own roof terrace, private parking and is situated directly across from Hyde Park, between Princess Diana’s memorial park and close to local amenities on Connaught Street.

The Nanny apartment is a one bedroom flat in the lower ground floor of the building two floors below where the family lives and has a separate ground floor private street entrance. It has a large bedroom, a kitchen and bathroom. The reception room will be used as the baby’s playroom during the week. The apartment will have a sofa, TV and plenty of wardrobe and storage space, so it can transform into a living room for off duty use (evenings and weekends).

A UK driver’s license would be ideal.

Great remuneration package and the family will pay any over time incurred.
