CLAPHAM COMMON, SW4 + travel: Live-in OR Daily, full-time Nanny for 5 children; (B9, G7, twin G3’s & B1 years)

CLAPHAM COMMON + country & international travel: This busy, loving family are looking for a highly-competent, experienced full-time Nanny to care for their five children, ranging from 1 to 9 years in age. Both Live-in OR Daily candidates will be accepted.

Our professional clients based near to Clapham Common (SW4) are seeking a new full-time Nanny for their five children. At present, the family are considering both local Daily OR Live-in applicants able to work: Monday to Friday, 07.45 - 19.00 (some flexibility with start time, if required). Please note that the family do have a second home in the UK countryside and would require their new nanny to support them with both some country (Suffolk) and international based travel during school holidays.

The right nanny for our clients will be a highly capable & organised candidate with excellent longevity in roles. Someone fun, loving, kind, yet organised and proactive in anticipating the needs of day-to-day. The family have a longstanding housekeeper who works full-time and will be able to provide an extra pair of hands when needed. Their current nanny has also loved working for the family and only leaving due to a career change into Midwifery. With this in mind, the family are hoping the new candidate will be looking for longevity and job-security.

Both parents have busy, demanding careers and therefore requiring competent sole-charge care. They are seeking an applicant able to efficiently multi-task day to day admin, whilst meeting the physical/emotional/social/intellectual needs of all five children. A safe, caring and stimulating environment should be created for the children and, with assistance from the housekeeper, full standard nursery duties carried out. As a sole-charge role, the family are requiring their full-time nanny to monitor and organise all school-related admin, scheduling and events/activity preparation. In addition to diary management, they would also love for their nanny to arrange age-appropriate classes/activities, organise groceries for the children and ensure school bags are prepared for the next day.

As the family’s older two children are at full-time school nearby and twin girls due to start a local nursery soon (all within walking distance), the nanny will primarily be caring for the family’s baby son. Whilst mainly caring for their youngest, the day will round off with supporting the evening routine (supper, bath, bed) and housework assistance/prompts for the family’s eldest. The Nanny will also be a keen cook and enjoy preparing healthy, nutritious meals and be a positive role model for young charges.

A driver would be helpful, but not essential due to excellent local amenities and schooling accessible by foot. Our clients can accommodate both Live-in OR Daily Nannies, if live-in the nanny accommodation is a private spacious double bedroom with ensuite. For Daily candidates the nearest tube station is Clapham South. A TOP salary remuneration (up to £80,000 gross p/a) depending on experience & qualifications.
