OXFORDSHIRE OX39: trained & experienced Temporary, Live-in OR Daily Nanny (B12 & G3 years) 

mid-July start, this is a temporary booking until mid-March 2024

We are looking for a great, trained and experienced Temporary Nanny for two children, B12 years & G3 years.  This will be a booking for approx. 8 months to cover maternity leave for the family's much-loved Norlander who is leaving to have her own baby.

Our clients, both working professionals have two children, B12 years & G3 years.  To start in mid-July, the hours will be 07.00 - 18.00, plus occasional babysitting + proxy.

The family will consider both Live-in & Daily applicants, but hours will be as above, so it would be best if Daily applicants are relatively local. And there will be time off during the day.

The Nanny should be trained and experienced and will be asked to perform full nanny duties, keeping with the super routine already in place from the family's existing Norland Nanny. The little girl will be starting pre-school in Sept at the same school as her older brother, so a confident driver is required for school runs.

This will be a sole charge role as both parents both work for big companies, Mum works relatively locally but travels on occasion and Dad works to international US hours, the family is multi-lingual and languages spoken at home include Ukrainian, Russian, Portuguese & English.

The main charge will be the little girl, 3 years .  She is quite independent and likes to be autonomous and grown up! So our clients would like the Temporary Nanny to be gently  responsive to her needs and the change of nanny. The family adores their current Norland Nanny, and this role is to cover her maternity leave and will be approx. an 8 month booking.  It is highly desirable to have a handover with her before she leaves at the end of July.

A confident driver is required, and there is a small family dog (own dog walker) and some other household staff (incl: Housekeeper, Cleaners, Gardeners etc), so the Temporary Nanny must be a great team player and happy to work to existing routines and muck-in with the existing staff.

If Live-in, every bedroom is en-suite - so the Nanny will have her own private space.  If Daily, the home is situated quite rurally on the eastern edge of Oxfordshire not far from Thame and High Wycombe (M40 junction 6).

Just to confirm, this is a *temporary, maternity leave position, with an approx. 8 month duration*.  Our clients can consider both Live-in and Daily applicants, and whilst there will be the need for occasional babysitting and proxy care, during this period the family will endeavour to keep family travel to a minimum.
