KNIGHTSBRIDGE + travel: **Trained, native English, Retainer, SEN Nanny** (3 children; 8.5, 6 & 2.5 years) = July start £££££ Position: Trained, Retainer, SEN Nanny within a private, extremely formal family Start date: July Location: Knightsbridge Salary: Top salary depending on training & experience Our, busy clients are looking for an experienced, professional and engaging Retainer, SEN Nanny with a mature approach, to work on a retainer basis caring for 3 children; 8.5, 6 & 2.5 years (born: Jan 2015, April 2017 & Sept 2020). The role will require the nanny to be available to cover any sickness as well as holiday cover for the children’s Rota Nannies. This is a very formal household with multiple household staff. The Retainer Nanny who joins this family needs to have experience with children of similar ages as well as SEN experience, specifically with children who have ASC & ADHD. They need to be native English MT and be very happy to be flexible and able to adapt easily, ensuring that consistency of care for the children is never compromised. The Nanny will need to have excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills – there is a lot of autonomy in the role and so it is essential that the Nanny is confident to work on their own initiative as well as working as part of the nanny team and alongside other staff members within the household. A Nanny who has experience of working in a Rota/Retainer position previously would be extremely advantageous. This is a fully staffed household so the main focus is on caring for the children. During school hours for the older children when on duty the Retainer Nanny will be expected to keep up with administrative duties and planning for evenings, weekends and holidays. Accommodation comprises own bedroom and bathroom either within the family home or within the nanny apartment.
The Retainer Nanny needs to be happy to travel as there is travel both to Europe and internationally during the school holidays. And there are 2 dogs, so candidate must be OK with pets.
