ASAP start in KENSINGTON + travel: Daily Nanny (G4.5, G2 & B6 months)

Position: Daily Nanny with travel.

Location: Kensington W8 (nearest tube: High Street Ken).

Children:G4.5 year, G2 years & B6 months.

Start: ASAP.

Specific requirements: Driver essential.

Salary: will be offered depending on experience & qualifications.

An easy-going and friendly family of 5, based in Kensington, W8 is seek a professional, discrete, friendly and bubbly, loving and trustworthy Daily Nanny. Someone local or has an easy commute to Kensington would be ideal.  Working days & hours will be: 52.5 hours/week being Monday to Friday 07.30 - 18.00. Occasional babysitting will be requested.

You’ll care for two girls aged 4.5 & 2 years old and a baby boy born April 2023. The role will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care. The family also employ an afternoon cleaner who can help with the children around dinner and bath time if needed. The oldest has a big imagination and loves to dress up and role-play. The middle child loves being sporty and is a very sweet and charming girl. The youngest loves to smile and watch her older sisters!?

You’ll be a professional, loving and fun nanny, with experience of looking after children of a similar age. The right candidate will be searching for a long-term position and the parents are big on routines and manners. Mum will be on maternity leave for the next few months, before working from home, so the nanny must be comfortable with shared care.

The children are happy and healthy, in a good routine, with the eldest at school and the middle girl at nursery full time. Having fun and laughing with the children is a must! The role will include typical nursery duties, preparing healthy meals and organising age appropriate activities. You’ll be confident and happy to help with homework, reading and support with their educational development. You’d be expected to help keep shared spaces clean and tidy (kitchen & kids bedrooms, bathrooms, play areas ...) no deep cleaning will be expected, however the family do value having a clean and tidy,  organised home.   You will be passionate about looking after children and have a great sense of humour! You will be a non-smoker. You will have a current enhanced DBS certificate and be paediatric first-aid trained. You will have excellent checkable references from previous employers.

Holiday travel will be required, a maximum of three weeks in the US over the summer, although this can be longer, with more travel optional if the nanny is interested.

A driver is preferred, with a car provided for nursery duties and the family home is conveniently located in Kensington, close to local amenities and transport links. High Street Ken is the nearest tube station.
