October start in ST JOHN’S WOOD + travel: TOP, trained, Rota Nanny (to take over from MN) for G12 months

This is an October start to take over from an outgoing Maternity Nurse and to with the family’s current Norland-trained Rota Nanny hired earlier this summer. It is therefore highly desired by our client that this new, rota counterpart has a good handover and smooth transition with both team members for continuity.

= Role: Rota Nanny (2 weeks on/off).

= Charge: baby girl, 12 months.

= Start date: October start.

= Location: St John's Wood + international travel

= Specific requirements: formal training (and an Italian speaker would be a real bonus!)

Our returning clients, super-busy parents in St John's Wood are seeking a top, trained, Rota Nanny to provide on-call 24/14 care for their adorable baby girl who will be approx. 12 months old when the position starts in October. This is a new position taking over from the family’s current Maternity Nurse, working in conjunction with the other rota nanny (Norland trained) and the rota will be 2 weeks on/off, with flexibility for a longer rotation when travelling.

The new candidate will ideally have some formal childcare training with a great track record, and it is a requirement that nanny will have had previous professional travel experience with young babies upwards as our clients travel to some gorgeous places.

Previous rota and HNW experience is also preferred, but our clients are open to the candidate's career level and happy to consider applicants with a minimum of 2 years/+ private household experience. Most importantly, the family are seeking a nanny who has great intuition and emotional intelligence; with relevant hands-on experience with this age group and the ability to work well with others.

The successful nanny should be able to have good communication with the other rota nanny (Norland trained) and the family themselves. Full nursery duties will be required from the candidate to ensure little one is fully supported through all her developmental stages and establishing new routines as she grows. And whilst it is highly desirable that the new Rota Nanny speaks Italian, it isn't an essential requirement.

Our clients do like to travel abroad, and there will be a mix of short-haul (Ibiza) and long-haul (Australia) overseas trips, so each Nanny should be OK with travelling with families and have previous experience travelling with young charges. As outlined, there will be a set rotation but flexibility with the rota is required when travelling to Australia or other long-haul destinations. A nanny who is a confident London driver is also highly preferred by the family. 

Our clients are situated in the heart of St John's Wood, near to some leafy green spaces/parks (e.g. Regent's Park & Primrose Hill) and St John's Wood underground. 

Interviews are now taking place for an October start and a thorough handover period with the outgoing Maternity Nurse and alongside the family’s other Rota Nanny. The family is offering a competitive salary for a top, qualified nanny who fits the above brief and all family's requirements.
