Position: Live-in Nanny (separate accommodation supplied).

Location: Oslo, Norway (**EU passport is required**).

Start date: December 2024/January 2025

Child: 2 years

Our clients, an informal, young family have a fabulous opportunity for a fun, energetic & engaging Live-in Nanny to join their informal family in Oslo, Norway. An EU passport is an absolutely essential requirement.

It would be ideal if the new Nanny could start December 2024 to do a handover with their outgoing Nanny, but start dates could be stretch into the new year if necessary.  The little boy will be 2 years when the role starts and he is a happy, healthy, well adjusted little chap who is full of energy, so a candidate who has superb energy levels and will be active with him!   Our clients want someone who will be instrumental in developing his social life and who had a good understanding of development.

Your working hours will be from 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.  And once a week little chap stays overnight in the nanny accommodation (linked to the house) and one night per month, either from Friday to Saturday or from Saturday to Sunday by mutual agreement. There will also be additional proxy parenting (paid in addition) on a mutual & ad-hoc basis.

He attends nursery everyday from 8:30/9am - 3pm (and once all nursery duties have been completed the nanny can have this time off as long as they are available if he is unwell).

The role entails all meal preps for him and they have a lovely housekeeper who takes care of all the other nursery duties. You will be responsible for keeping on top of his belongings & ensuring toys etc. are kept organised. There are also two older children who stay 50/50 at the home but they are self-sufficient & will not be the nanny's responsibility. The family have dogs in the home so no allergies please. 

Separate accommodation linked to the house will be provided. This arrangement allows you to have your own space while being easily accessible to the family. And whilst a driver is not a requirement for this role, a car is available for the nanny.
