About the Family:

A warm and welcoming family in Kensington, W8, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and nurturing nanny to care for their delightful baby boy, born in August 2024. The family values a positive, flexible, and hardworking nanny who can support their child’s growth and development while fostering a happy and engaging environment. Native Mandarin speakers are encouraged to apply, though this is not a requirement.

Role Overview:

This is a live-in, shared care role working Monday to Friday, 12 hours per day, with flexibility to accommodate occasional early or late schedules. The nanny will be responsible for providing high-quality care, supporting the baby’s development, and handling all nursery duties. The position includes monitoring the baby overnight, though he rarely wakes. The family’s current Maternity Nurse will stay until the end of May, allowing for a smooth handover period. The role requires a relaxed yet professional approach, understanding the importance of providing excellent childcare while supporting the parents. Accommodation is supplied during the week when on duty, but the nanny will be required to vacate at weekends.

Responsibilities:

= Engage in age-appropriate activities, playdates, classes, and outings.

= Establish and maintain a consistent routine.

= Prepare nutritious meals and handle all nursery duties.

= Support developmental milestones and encourage learning.

= Provide overnight monitoring, if needed.

= Travel with the family as required (minimal in the first year).

Accommodation & Benefits: 

= The nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom from Monday to Friday when on duty in the family’s beautiful home, which includes access to a private and communal garden. Please note the nanny will need to vacate at weekends.

Additional Information:

= No driving required.

= The family has a friendly, trained 4-year-old Golden Retriever, managed by a dog walker.

= Housekeeper employed 2-3 days per week.
