Professional working parents are seeking their ‘first’ Nanny to take full, sole charge of their son, who is currently 9.5 months old (born in March 2021). Mother is on maternity leave until mid-March and with this role to start in February or latest early March. Live-in OR Daily candidates may apply.
This is an international, multi-lingual family who speak English, Dutch and Norwegian. Our clients reside in the Neverlands but the Mother’s family are Norwegian and she also grew up in The UK. Their preference would therefore be for their new nanny to ideally speak one of the above three languages – or similar (e.g. Swedish or Danish).
The nanny’s working hours will be Monday – Friday, 7am-7pm. This is a completely sole charge role and full Nanny duties will be required.
The Nanny is to be in place by 7th March 2022 latest (as both parents are working full-time by 14th March 2022).
Their little boy is currently in a super routine; he is fully weaned and has two naps/day. When he turns 1 year, it likely he will be going to day-care (with the exact number of hours & days to be confirmed in due course) but the family are also keen for his new nanny to have plenty of time with him at home too by organising/engaging in age-appropriate activities and classes outside of nursery.
Nanny characteristics: an energetic, playful but calm candidate. Someone with excellent baby knowledge able to handle situations calmly. The family are open to candidates of differing experience levels, providing they have good previous experience with young early-years charges and excellent check-able references to date. A confident driver is essential and the Nanny will be insured on client's car (auto).
Our clients currently live in a capacious apartment in The Hague, but will be moving to a house about 10 minutes out of The Hague (in Wassenaar). The family do travel and would like nanny to travel with them (incl. Norway & Switzerland plus other overseas destinations).
This role is offering a competitive annual gross salary between 57,500 € to 65,900 € depending on experience/training and whether the role is Live-in or Daily.
