NOTTING HILL GATE: 24/2, Live-in, Weekend Nanny (B2.5 years & G9.5 months) - June start  ££££

~ Position: 24/2, Live-in, Weekend Nanny + occasional Proxy

 ~ Salary: competitive

We have an opening for a Weekend Nanny in Notting Hill - great appointment with a competitive salary and the opportunity for extra overtime!  Extremely busy, professional clients are looking for a 24/2, Live-in, Weekend Nanny to join their family at weekends to care for their two little ones (B2.5 years & G9.5 months).

~ This is a 24/2, Live-in, Weekend Nanny roles with the hours being from 18.00 on a Friday, until 18.00 on a Sunday.

Our clients are seeking an extra pair of hands, someone who is super-capable and is confident with babies & toddlers. Our client is very hands-on, but would like someone capable of sole charge care and be able to do extra (paid overtime) proxy care when both parents need to travel for work. 

About the family:

~ Professional parents, both working long hours and are required to travel for their professions, Mum is currently working part-time, but will be going back to work full-time from January 2026.

~ Both parents are Australian and they currently have a full-time, Australian, Weekday Nanny, so the role will be handing over to her on a Friday evening.

~ 2 children: B2.5 years & G9.5 months, both sleep through the night!

Type of candidate suited to the household:

~ Easy going, friendly and easy to share space with, and be open minded, an extension of the family.

~ Flexible and reliable "no task too big or small",  organised and tidy.

~ Fun and active, genuinely enjoying playing with children, reading stories etc.

~ Happy to take the children out daily for a play in the park, arrange activities.

~ Enjoy cooking and happy to do some extra for parents on occasion.

~ Happy to do errands, support with menu planning and grocery shopping.

~ Prepare the children's' bags ahead of travel.

~There is a full time HK, so for the Weekend Nanny it's just being helpful around the house and being tidy-as-you-go etc. etc.

~ Any overtime (proxy, covering weekday nanny's annual leave etc..) would be planned in advance and paid extra.

~ Be proactive and organised, but with a laid back, easy-going vibe (clients are Australian).

Competitive salary for 24/2 care, with overtime paid separately. The family doesn't need a driver, but there is a car they could insure and Bayswater & Notting Hill Gate are the nearest tubes.
