EEL BROOK COMMON + travel: **Temporary**, Live-in Nanny (B3 years & G5 months)

• Live-in Nanny (temporary role, ASAP May start - September)

• Children: 2 children; B3 years & G5 months

• Salary: £40-£45K gpa

We have a lovely opportunity for a kind, fun and proactive, Live-in Nanny. The role is to support a family with their two little ones: B3 years & G5 months. Previously the family has had formally trained nannies and liked the Norland ethos!

• This is a temporary role to start ASAP April for approx. 5 - 6 months until September/October.

• Working hours: 07.30-19.00 Monday-Thursday with 07.30-13.00 on Fridays + one contractual mid-week babysit.

Full, standard nursery duties will be required, though the family employ daily cleaners who assist with the children's laundry and ironing. The family’s eldest attends pre-prep (currently mornings only) and both children are at home in the afternoon. This will be a mixture of sole & shared charge. The nanny will at times have sole charge of both children but as the mother is currently on maternity leave, the nanny and mother can also tag-team to ensure the children get super 1-on-1 attention and so the eldest can continue with all his activities independently to the new baby. The mother would also like the baby to start to attend her own age appropriate classes and develop her own friendship group. The family is keen for the nanny to continue the established social network for their son and go with him to his various afternoon activities and playdates (these include swimming, music and membership at the children's clubs in Chelsea and Parsons Green). It is also important to the family that their new nanny is very kind, nurturing and keen to have fun and promote independent play.

Our clients do need a nanny who would like to do occasional travel with them (domestic UK + EU + occasional long-haul), in particular over the summer holidays. Although a driver is not a prerequisite, a parking permit can be obtained in London if the nanny has their own car. The family also have two dogs (Labrador & Cocker Spaniel), so it is essential for the nanny to also be OK with household pets.
