| Description | Autumn start in BRUTON, SOMERSET: Our busy, professional clients are seeking a new Live-in OR Live-out (if local) Nanny for their two boys, 3 & 1 year. Driver essential Location: Bruton, Somerset Role: Live-in OR Live-out (if very local) Nanny Children: B3 years + B13 months Start date: ASAP November Our clients, deep in the heart of beautiful Somerset, are looking for a really super, trained, Live-in OR local Live-out "Country Nanny". A confident country driver is an essential requirement. Their eldest son is 3 years old and is a nursery 4 mornings per week until 1.30pm. Younger brother is coming up to 13 months and loves going to classes and activities and playdates (he will be at home for another year, not starting nursery until Jan 2026). The new Nanny should have excellent sole charge experience with working with both age groups: planning and organising local activities & classes. The house is set in 10 acres, so lots of outside space, so someone active and happy to plan outdoor games and activities is best suited. Wellies will be essential! Family currently has a labrador and two cats (who are currently house-cats) and might well get chickens at a later date, so someone happy around animals would be great. The nanny should be a confident driver, with a clean license and preferably with own car, parents will cover all expenses of the car including insurance. If the nanny doesn't have a car, there will be a car available to use during working hours only. Bruton & Castle Cary are the nearest stations, on the direct line to London. This position is to start from November onwards with a handover from the family's current nanny, and interviews are now taking place. A great salary and if you are a live-in nanny, they offer a very private, annexe accommodation with sitting room, kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom with own entrance is available for a nanny who ticks all the family's requirements.
