Job Description:
A dynamic and busy household in Notting Hill who are long standing clients of NSJ are seeking a calm, experienced, educationally-focused, Rota Nanny to join their team and care for their 5-year-old boy. The family operates on a two-week on/off rota, with extended periods when parents travel. The child is 5 years old, going into Year One. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with another NSJ Nanny on a rotating schedule to provide comprehensive care for the child, 2 week on/off rotation.
- Engage the child in various activities, classes, and outings in Notting Hill, including visits to parks and other attractions.
- Maintain the child's routine, including meal times and bedtime, ensuring they eat and sleep well.
- Accompany the family during their two-month summer stay in Italy and other travel destinations, providing care and support.
- Pack and plan for travel, including international trips to destinations such as the Caribbean and Maldives.
- Possess the ability to adapt to formal environments during travel.
- Maintain the child's belongings, wardrobe, and educational materials.
- Keep the child's toys tidy and clean.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Nanny, preferably in a rota or similar dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel internationally and adapt to different environments.
- Experience with children 5 years+ and above.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan ahead.
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work on a rotating schedule.
- Knowledge of Italian is a bonus but not essential.
- Familiarity with maintaining children's wardrobes and educational support.
- Comfortable working alongside a chef and housekeeper, focusing solely on child-related duties.
