We have a super opportunity for a trained, live-in nanny to join a warm and welcoming family based between Notting Hill and the Cotswolds. They are seeking an experienced, professional, gentle and caring nanny for their two young children, G2 and B4. The working schedule will be 5.5–6 days per week (Monday to Saturday), to support the clients with some weekend cover. In return, the family are offering the nanny an extra 22 days’ leave (requested/agreed by client) in addition to statutory holiday. The family employs a much-loved international nanny who would support them during longer travel periods, allowing for this enhanced leave entitlement. The position will involve a mixture of sole charge and shared care. Responsibilities will include all standard nursery duties, including preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children. Both children are happy, healthy and well-established in their routines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with similar age groups and will be energetic, kind and nurturing. A love of the outdoors is essential, along with the ability to support curious, inquisitive young minds through engaging, age-appropriate activities. A Montessori approach would be highly desirable, as their son currently attends a Montessori nursery and their daughter is expected to follow. The nanny should be confident organising indoor stage-related activities, arranging classes and encouraging active, outdoor play. A progressive outlook on childcare and a collaborative, team-focused attitude are essential. A confident driver is essential and our clients require a candidate flexible to accompany them on shorter travel trips, when their international nanny is unavailable. Accommodation in London consists of a private basement apartment with its own separate entrance. In the Cotswolds, a separate annex is provided. There are two dogs in the household, so it is important for the nanny to be comfortable around pets. In London, the nearest underground stations are Holland Park and Notting Hill Gate, with excellent local amenities nearby, including Holland Park and Kensington Gardens.
