Our clients are a professional couple with one daughter (turning 5 in June) who live in Maida Vale, London. They are looking for a full-time, Live-in Nanny to look after their daughter and is currently in Reception Class. She is a happy, contented, social child who enjoys her weekly clubs and activities.
The role starts at 07:00 to get her ready for school, and school drop off is at 08.40am and is a 10-15 minute drive from the family home. Pick up from school is 15:00 (15:30 from September). There are afterschool clubs and she happily does her daily reading and homework with bedtime from 19:30. Little one is a very playful person who loves interacting with adults, so someone playful and energetic would be ideal. This role will also appeal to someone who enjoys cooking and baking and it would be great if the evening meal could be enough for the whole family. While she is at school, the family would like the nanny to do full nursery duties - incl. children's laundry, clothes maintenance, and review of her books, toys and extra curriculars to attend to as well as organising play dates with her friends. During the school holidays, there are local classes and a selection of day camps. Our clients have a beautiful communal garden, a large park and extensive children’s playground close to their home, a local library with a good children’s section, and a membership at Cloud Twelve so there are lots of places to play and socialise. Our clients both currently work from home, but work from an apartment in the building next door so while the role is sole charge, their prospective nanny should be comfortable with parents being in the home some of the time. Grandparents visit London (from overseas) in the summer and it would be lovely for the nanny to spend time with them and support them in their time with their grand daughter as well. Our clients are a very close, loving and attentive family and are looking for someone kind, energetic and collaborative. Driver: a confident London driver is essential: a family car is available. Travel: Our clients have family in Singapore and travel there for three weeks each year (usually December/January). A private serviced apartment with swimming pool will be provided for the nanny. There may also be some short trips around Asia e.g. Thailand, Bali & Japan. For the rest of the year, holidays take place in the English countryside with occasional trips to Europe. Nanny accommodation: a top floor private one bed apartment with a full-time concierge, lift, and parking, just 100m from the family home. Additional: The family has ragdoll cat, so nanny must be OK with cats. In addition, the gym in the park beside our home has recently been refurbished and has excellent facilities and midday/evening classes.
