A young, busy family is seeking a qualified, energetic and upbeat Rota Nanny to care for their 1-year-old baby boy. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced nanny to join a warm family, within a role that combines both shared care and sole charge. The parents are very hands-on and actively involved in their son's day-to-day life. The family follow a baby-led method, with a gentle approach towards routines, while greatly valuing the knowledge, experience and guidance their nannies bring. Their little boy is now walking, and as the family enjoy an active lifestyle personally, this position would particularly suit a nanny who loves keeping busy, exploring new places and spending time outdoors (in all weathers)!
All nursery-related duties are required. The successful nanny will have excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of caring for babies including sleep, routines, weaning, developmental milestones and all aspects of general baby care. Their little boy is currently in a good routine and both Rota Nannies will work closely together to maintain consistency and continuity of care as he grows. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and confident in using their initiative, as well as emotionally astute in recognising when the family would like to enjoy quality time together separately. This is a relaxed, informal household and the family are keen to find someone who will naturally fit into their home and become a valued part of their team. Accommodation is provided when on duty, with a minimum of a private bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The family divide their time between their Central London residence and beautiful Cotswolds home, as well as frequent travel throughout Europe and worldwide. Therefore, someone who genuinely enjoys travelling and adapting to different work environments and locations is essential. The family employs housekeepers across both properties and a confident driver is required - with a car provided for use whilst working. As the family spend time at their countryside property, it is important that the nanny is also comfortable around animals, particularly dogs, as the family have several much-loved Labradors.
