Delightful, long-standing, professional clients of ours are seeking a new Live-in Nanny to replace their NSJ nanny who has left after 8.5 years!    Based in Wimbledon our professional clients are looking for a top, new live-in Nanny to have sole charge of their 2 children G9 & B5 years.  This appointment will start Dec - 

This is a very happy, relaxed household, but our clients do lead very demanding jobs, so require a nanny with a very mature outlook and successful previous experience of working with school age children (to be able to assist with homework).  The hours are Monday - Friday, and during term-time the nanny will come on duty at 07.45 to get the children off to school at 8am, and the nanny day will finish about 8pm. During the holidays the hours are a little more relaxed.

Key requirements for this role:

=English mother tongue, and ideally a minimum of 10 years experience.

=Previous experience of working with primary school age children, therefore an ability to assist with homework, and encourage & focus the children accordingly.

=A confident London & motorway driver is essential (the nanny car is a manual Golf). London driving for school runs, motorway driving required when taking the children to meet up with their grandparents.

=To work incredibly effectivly as part of a team with the parents (both professionals), the schools and the grandparents who enjoying having the children at their home in the south west during certain holidays.

=The nanny will: be the main point of contact with the schools; be responsible for making sure all necessary academic items (incl uniform etc) are up to date and correct;  arrange all after-school activities & play-dates;  attend all parents evenings, sports days, school plays etc.

=Ability to confidently run household errands and complete the weekly Ocado shop etc.

In return, the nanny will be part of the family, she will have her own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette area. During the school day when the children are at school, once the nanny has completed the general nursery duties (no cleaning required) she can have some free time, so if a nanny wanted to go to a sports or activity herself, that's fine. Contractually the nanny will have 4 weeks' annual leave per annum, but more often that not she gets a lot of extra days when the children are away with grandparents.  The mother is from Australia, but now the children are older the nanny will not be required to travel.
