Full-Time Vacancies

CHELSEA from early September: We are seeking a top, sole charge, English MT Daily Nanny for our international, professional, educated clients who are based in the heart of Chelsea. 

Our clients have one little boy (currently 20 months) who is in a fantastic routine and they are seeking a new, Daily Nanny to work in a mainly sole charge capacity.  There is a new baby (girl) due in October(MN booked), so the new Nanny must be adept and assured with both toddler & baby developmental stages for when she takes over from the MN.

The working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am until 7pm. The preferred candidate will ideally have formal childcare training and are looking for a kind, caring and organised person who adores children; a candidate who has had her Covid vaccination(s) will be favoured.

Our clients would like an educationally-focused nanny and are very interested in the Montessori methodology.  This is an international household but our clients are favouring English MT.

This role is best suited to someone very organised, tidy, straightforward and with good conduct, dedicated/motivated, good drive/creativity and who has a mature outlook. Although the household is fairly structured, clients would like some warm and caring for the little one. Their son has had a Nanny but she has had to recently return to her home country, so he is used to having a nanny and in September he will start part time at a local nursery.  The day will be spent playing with their son, taking him to the park, exploring and having outdoor adventures. You also love getting on the floor and helping him to learn through play. You will be very developmentally focused, ideally degree qualified and have Montessori experience.

There is a new baby due in the autumn and mum will probably take 4-5 months Maternity Leave. So the new nanny should be happy with primarily sole charge, with a few months of shared care, and be equally confident and competent with various early years age groups. You will have experience with toddlers and newborns guiding them through the developmental stages such as weaning and potty training.

The family have a Housekeeper and the new Nanny will be required to do all the nursery duties for the child - responsible for all child related tasks, such as laundry, cooking meals, cleaning the nursery, tidying up after play and eating.

A driver would be helpful but not essential and candidates who have had their Covid vaccination(s) will be favoured.  South Ken is the nearest tube, but the family are pretty much equidistant from Sloane Square & Knightsbridge stations too.

Interviews are taking place now for an early September start and a very good salary available for a well qualified candidate.  Ultimately our clients are looking for someone to join the family on a long-term basis and form a strong bond with their little boy and the baby girl. And an  English MT Nanny who spoke some Spanish or German speaker would be the cherry on the top!
