MONACO + travel: Daily OR Live-in (sep accmd), English-speaking Nanny.    Returning Australian clients of ours in glorious Monaco are seeking a new, English-speaking Nanny to join their household team for their two children: G6 & B3 years.

This wonderful opportunity is for a Nanny who wants to see the world and to join a slick household team, with this position to start at the candidate’s earliest convenience. The family are primarily located in Monaco, but the role requires international travel during the school holidays. It is therefore imperative that the candidate is a flexible team player, who is super-organised (with excellent attention to detail), proactive, efficient and adaptive. Proven experience with school-age and toddler age groups is also paramount! As an EU appointment, it is also essential for the candidate to hold an EU passport to both work and reside permanently in Monaco.

All standard nanny duties in providing full care for the children are expected, in accordance with the parents. The working hours will be approx. 45-50 hours per week including some flexibility to work over a weekend or as babysitting (this would be always included within the set weekly hours, rather than on op off). When the family travel, the hours will vary to suit their travel schedules, but this will be discussed with advance notice. With both children’s nursery/school drop offs a short drive away, a confident EU driver (with a full, clean license) is essential for when in Monaco but also helpful when abroad too. With some gorgeous international travel, which includes France, Ibiza, Italy and Dubai and other destinations – it’s important for the nanny to be a savvy professional traveller (e.g. packing for children, researching activities in each location etc) and who actively enjoys the variation of being based in different locations abroad.

This role is best-suited to a fun, outgoing candidate who enjoys thinking up creative and engaging age-appropriate activities and who can support two active young children – including during the school holidays and summers. A background in education would is desirable but importantly, applicants should have strong English (if not native English, then must be fully comprehensible). With a school-age child, the candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal & written English to support with homework and to communicate with parents/school.

The key nature of this search is for a candidate with a genuine passion in childcare and who can work well in a team dynamic – with a friendly, can-do attitude and happy to pitch/muck-in where needed. Our clients are open to nationality/language, providing the new Nanny speaks excellent English and eligible to work in the EU.

Our clients are open to both Live-in and Daily applicants. If Live-in, then separate staff accommodation is provided (away from the main residence), and if Daily then it is preferred that the candidate is relatively local but must be able to travel.
