| Description | MANCHESTER + travel: Trained, Rota Nanny (3 children: 10 months - 5.5 years) Feb start (driver essential with own car) ££££ Role: Rota Nanny (1 week on/off) Location: Manchester Children: 3 children, 10 months - 5.5 years Start date: ASAP February Special requirements: Formal training highly desirable (eg: Norland), previous experience caring for 3-charges on a 24 hour on-call/Rota basis + confident driver (+ own car required) We are seeking a fun, energetic and trained Rota Nanny to join a staffed household in Manchester to support our clients with their 3 children (10 months - 5.5 years). The other Rota Nanny is Norland trained. = Working Hours: this is a 24/7 week on/off Rota with Wednesday as the handover day, and the new nanny must have flexibility to align with family travel when travelling (mixture of EU & international/long-haul). The new nanny must have experience with babies, toddlers and school-age children, and our clients are favoring candidates who have spent a couple of years in previous, similar roles. This is a busy position with the two youngest in part-time nursery, and the family's eldest is in full-time school, so the new nanny must be a great team player, super-organised and able hit the ground running to ensure slick and proactive household. This role involves working in conjunction with the parents and rota counter-part, with the family wanting equality and balance within their nanny team. The family's schedule is scheduled ahead of time but occasionally plans can change last minute, so a flexible and adaptable applicant who wouldn't be fazed by this is super-important. As a mixed sole/shared care role, the new candidate needs to be able to read the room and be a good team player, able to work well within a more relaxed, yet staffed household (PA, housekeepers + security). It is also very important to our clients that their new nanny is highly professional, able to discretely safeguard the family's privacy. A confident driver is required but the candidate must be happy to use their own vehicle - the family will pay for petrol costs getting to/from work and whilst on duty. This role would best-suit an easy-going and calm individual with a more gentle, tempered demeanor. Our clients are also prioritising candidates with longevity in previous appointments, as they would like their team to be with them long-term. A candidate used to working within a Rota arrangement is also helpful, as well as professional experience caring for and traveling with multiple children. Nicely-presented private top floor bedroom with own ensuite bathroom is available for when on duty, with a competitive salary on offer. First round interviews are taking place now for a February start. If you are interested in this vacancy and have the experience/training required by our clients, then please do contact us for more information. You can call us on 0207 610 9218. Or you can send your up-to-date CV, references and covering application, explaining why you are suited to this role to: info@nanniesofstjames.com |
