SUMMERTOWN, OXFORD: Sole Charge Daily Nanny (G3.5 years) - Location: Summertown, Oxford
- Position: Daily Nanny (Sole Charge)
- Start: Interviews ongoing – for early January start
- Schedule:
- • Option 1: Monday–Thursday, 7am–7pm
- • Option 2: Monday–Wednesday, 7am–7pm; Thursday 9am–5pm; Friday 9am–5pm
- (Family is flexible and open to either schedule depending on the nanny)
About the Role: A warm and welcoming professional family in the heart of Summertown, Oxford is seeking an experienced, confident, and proactive Sole Charge Daily Nanny to care for their bright, articulate, and energetic 3.5-year-old daughter.
Their daughter is lively, curious, sociable, and thrives with structured routines and stimulating play. The family has been supported by a wonderful Norland Nanny for the past three years, and they are now looking for someone equally trained, engaging, and invested in supporting her next stage of development.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nanny with a passion for early years education and a warm, nurturing approach.

Responsibilities: - Full sole charge care of the child.
- Planning and organising engaging activities, outings, and playdates.
- Supporting attendance at classes and activities such as ballet and swimming.
- Creating fun, stimulating routines that encourage developmental and educational progress.
- Full nursery duties.
- Preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the child.
- Encouraging social, emotional, and pre-school development.
- Liaising with parents to maintain a consistent, supportive routine.

Nursery Routine: - The child attends nursery:
- Monday & Wednesday mornings and Friday 9am–3pm.
- She loves her nursery setting and enjoys a variety of social and learning opportunities.

Candidate Requirements: - Professional nanny with strong experience in the preschool age group.
- Warm, organised, reliable, and energetic.
- Confident planning full days of age-appropriate activities.
- Experience arranging playdates and building social skills.
- A driver is helpful but not essential – a VW Polo is available for nanny use.
- Someone who can continue to nurture her early educational development ahead of pre-prep in the coming years.
