SUFFOLK – Part-Time Live-In Nanny (Proxy Parent)

Two children: Boy (11) & Girl (10). Hours: Wednesday–Friday | for a long-standing NSJ client in beautiful, rural Suffolk

A warm and welcoming family - based about half an hour from Southwold, Suffolk - is seeking an experienced, permanent, part-time, Live-in Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. This role will involve proxy parenting while the client works away. Working Wednesday – Friday.

Working days: Wednesday to Friday (Live-in accommodation provided during working days)

The Role:

The successful nanny will take full responsibility during working days, ensuring a smooth, organised, and nurturing routine. Duties include:

• • Proxy parenting with confidence and initiative.
• • School runs and schedule management – use of car.
• • Supporting homework and encouraging educational development.
• • Preparing meals for the children.
• • Engaging with the children about their school day and activities.
• • Ensuring correct sports kit, uniforms, and equipment are ready each day.
• • General childcare support and pitching in where needed.

Candidate Requirements

• • Educationally motivated and organised.
• • Confident, capable proxy parent.
• • Confident country driver (essential).
• • Warm, engaging, and proactive approach.
• • Experience with school-aged children.
