Description

KNIGHTSBRIDGE + travel: **Trained & experienced, native English, SEN, Rota Nanny** (3 children; 11, 9 & 5.5  years) = ASAP start £££££

  • Role: SEN, Rota Nanny (specifically ASC & ADHD)
  • Rota: 7 days on/14 days off (as part of a nanny team)
  • Children: B11.5 years (b. 2015)
  • Start date: ASAP summer
  • Location: Knightsbridge + international travel
  • Salary: Starting salary £70,000 gpa (rising to £75,000 after a successful probationary period)
This busy family are looking for an experienced & professional, SEN, Rota Nanny with a mature approach, to work on a rota basis (7 days on/14 days off) caring for one child (b. Feb 2015). This is a rewarding opportunity to join a fully staffed household, offering a high level of professional autonomy, extensive travel opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful difference to a child's development and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with ASC & ADHD. They will be energetic, proactive and engaging, with a good sense of humour, plenty of initiative and a calm, patient approach. The child thrives with consistency, structure and positive support, so the Rota Nanny must be confident in setting clear boundaries, promoting positive behaviour and supporting emotional regulation when needed.

Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills are essential. There is a significant level of autonomy within the role and the successful candidate must be confident working independently, whilst also collaborating closely with the wider nanny team (the child has two younger siblings, each with their own nanny) and other household staff. This is a highly professional position within a well-established household team.
Previous rota experience would be advantageous, although candidates with strong relevant experience in SEN childcare, education, behavioural support, youth work, coaching or similar specialist support roles are encouraged to apply.

As this is a fully staffed household, the primary focus of the role is the child's care, development and wellbeing. During school hours, the Rota Nanny will be responsible for administrative duties, planning activities, organising schedules and preparing for evenings, weekends and school holidays. The ideal candidate will enjoy creating engaging experiences and activities tailored to the child's interests and needs, including active, outdoor activities where appropriate.

  • Accommodation comprises own bedroom and bathroom either within the family home or within the nanny apartment.
  • The Rota Nanny needs to be happy to travel as there is travel both to Europe and internationally during the school holidays.
  • The family has 3 dogs.
  • A car driver is not required.
