Delightful, new role in central Zurich, from November/December - slightly flexible start, for a Live-in, completely sole charge 24/5 Nanny. With a separate studio apartment provided for the Nanny for her time off.  Our client works within the Early Years sector in Zurich, so knows what she is looking for, and a TOP, trained, English MT candidate with an EU passport and formal Early Years training.

The role is 24/5, Monday to Friday to care for a little boy of 2.5 years who is in a super routine, and is a fun and outgoing little one, having had a very successful Maternity Nurse, followed by a super Norland Nanny for the last 2 years. 

Mother works with the Early Years sector in Zurich, so she knows what she's looking for.  English MT is the primary requirement as the family speak German/English and some Swiss-German, and an EU passport Nanny.  Some formal childcare training/qualifications is also a requirement (this is non-negotiable). 

The new Nanny will have complete sole charge of the little one Monday-Friday 24/5, with her weekends free. The Nanny will Live-in during the week, but there is a studio apartment for her time off so she can completely recharge. Mother has her own business working long hours, so wants full cover whilst she's working, but there is no other travel unless nanny wants to, and the nanny is guaranteed all Christmas's & New Years off. 

The little boy is very chatty, very active, but in an excellent routine; a very easy child who eats well, sleeps well and is a generally very happy.  The family hope to be adding to the family in the near future, so someone with baby experience too is preferred.   The little boy is a chatterbox and already confident in both German & English with a good command of Swiss-German too - so a candidate who also enjoys languages will be prioritised, likewise a candidate who loves reading. A candidate who is active and enjoys the seasonal sports that Switzerland offers is highly desirable

With lots to do, and a great local nanny community in Zurich, there are cousins who live locally (with their own nanny) and there is great nanny network that client is happy for nanny to be part of.
A driver is not required as Zurich has excellent public transport which the nanny may use.

This is a lovely role, the nanny will rarely be required to travel with the family and will always have Christmas & New Year off, our clients are offering a very good salary plus a studio apartment for the nanny's time off, so she can fully recharge with in her own space.  Zurich is a charming city with easy access to the mountains, lakes, a great public transport network and lots to do.
