MOSCOW: mid-Jan start for a top, trained, Rota Manny/Governor for B7 years.  **English MT essential**.

Formal Russian family based in Moscow looking for professionally qualified and experienced, English MT, Male, Rota Nanny/Governor to work with their 7 year old son.

The role is a rota position for around 14/15 days a month (however this could vary by a few days month to month so the candidate must be flexible). Extra days to the 14 agreed days will be paid additionally. The role is 24/7 with the candidate mostly having their own room and bathroom but occasionally being asked to share a room with the boy when necessary if travelling.

The family home is based in the countryside an hour outside Moscow although the position will involve a lot of travel around the world. The candidate will need to be a native English speaker and experienced in teaching English and have knowledge of how young children learn and develop. This can be through experience teaching within a school, qualified teacher status or a NNEB or CACHE qualification in childcare/education. The candidate will be responsible for continuing to develop the boy’s (fluent) spoken English as well as his reading and writing in English, a proven track record of teaching English as a foreign language.

In addition there would be the usual nanny responsibilities e.g. keeping belongings and bedroom tidy and organized, organizing schedule (meals, sleep etc), managing travel. A love of sport and the outside would be a bonus with a fun, youthful disposition to engage with and keep up with a young lad.

It would be a benefit if the candidate loves to travel and is a confident swimmer and doesn’t suffer from seasickness as there is a lot of travel by yacht. The travel and care of the candidate is of the highest level with much consideration given.

The outgoing Manny/Governor, well known to us, has been with the family for 2 years.

To summarise:

o Boy 7 years.

o Moscow based.

o Mid-Jan 2022 start.

o To work 14-15 days on/off rota – with flexibility, might be more if the family is travelling.

o English MT essential with appropriate knowledge of the UK curriculum to support it and a proven track record of teaching English as a language.

o Formal teaching qualifications preferred.

o Duties will also include nanny duties, focusing on developing English language development, working with the team for schedules etc.

o Extensive travel (Covid vaccinated candidates favoured for travel).

The candidate can be based in UK or Russia. An excellent salary is negotiable according to the right candidate.
