BEAUTIFUL BAVARIA, GERMANY! Native English MT, Nanny/Governess (B6 & B4 years) - ASAP Feb start (confident driver)

We have a truly brilliant opening in beautiful Bavaria, for a top-notch, native English-speaking Nanny/Governess. Our clients have 4 children in their household, but the role is only for the younger two (6 & 4 years) as their older children are at boarding school here in the UK.

This role is replacing a candidate extremely well-known to us who has been with the family for two years and highly recommends this vacancy. The role is to start next year in late Feb/early March to handover with the outgoing nanny.

At our clients request their new Governess/Nanny **must** be native English MT and have some previous experience of supporting children with school entrance exam preparation. This is desirable as the younger two will be attending UK boarding schools, with the family keen to help gently prepare them over a longer timeframe with this hire. There will be some nanny duties, though Mum does most of the cooking and there is a fulltime HK & Laundress.

The working week will consist of 40 hours pw, over 5 days and will include weekends. Though the nanny does have two days consecutive off together (current nanny has Thursday & Friday, but our clients are happy to reconsider to two different days):

• School days: starting from about 07:00 to do school runs, a bit of downtime late morning/lunchtime and start again from 14:00.
  
• Weekends/holiday time: full days (starting at 08:00) but with a decent lunchbreak, then coming back to support with the rest of the day, until bedtime.
  

This role is best suited to someone extremely calm, kind, understated and discreet with a very strong sense of professional conduct. Someone that can be fully attuned to the family, reading situations well, who is well-trained/qualified, organised, tidy, smart and respectful of the family's surroundings.

• Travel: there will be approx. 8 weeks of travel per year (incl. Switzerland, UK & France).
  
• Driver: A confident driver is essential (auto).
• Pets: there is a beloved family dog (an old boy, 11 years) and no dog responsibilities.
• A top salary is available + nanny apartment, health care & pension. And for the first year 28 days holiday per year and therefore 31 days holiday.
• Our clients can offer sponsorship for a candidate who doesn't hold an EU passport.

The family home is located an exquisite area of southern Bavaria (Munich is just one hour north, and the Austrian border is less than an hour south).  This role will be best suited to a candidate who is not only passionate about providing the best educational and nanny duties for their charges, but also someone who really embraces an outdoor lifestyle, so they can benefit from everything the region has to offer, from mountains & skiing, sailing and hiking. It is also an historic and culturally rich region.
