Our returning professional clients are seeking a top-notch, 5* Daily OR Live-In Nanny to work 4 days/week, Monday -Thursday: 08.00-19.00. The role is to replace their much-loved and long-standing NSJ nanny, who is leaving to have her own baby early next year. There will be a short handover period before the outgoing nanny goes on her maternity leave, and as she isn’t seeking work thereafter, this is a permanent opportunity. This role is a mixture of shared care and sole charge; the nanny will have a lot of autonomy, but Mum is mainly around to help support with logistics of after-school runs and extra-curricular clubs for 3 children of varying ages. Applicants must have a good track record, with plenty of previous experience caring for children within these varying age groups: young early-years & pre-school and school-age groups. The children are all in good routines, happy & healthy. The family’s eldest is at school (Year One), their daughter is at nursery (part-time) and their toddler will be at home with the nanny. This is a super role for a candidate seeking to work 4 days per week and with regular working hours, on either a ‘Daily’ or ‘Live-In’ basis:
There may be occasional travel support for the odd summer family trip - although this would most likely be UK domestic and not a deal breaker, if a candidate was preferring not to travel. The family also have a strong preference for a driver (Auto), although not essential for the ‘right’ applicant. Normal day-to-day tasks are all local and just a short walk away, but the family’s current nanny has enjoyed taking the children for occasional trips/activities slightly further afield, where driving is necessary. This position would best-suit someone who is forward-thinking, organised and proactive, with a proven track record of working well in busy household with children from toddlers upwards. Our out-going nanny will have been with the family for three years when her time comes to an end. She highly recommends the role and will happily chat to prospective applicants.
